Snowing Blossoms

Snowing Blossoms

Snowing Blossoms

Bike along 10th avenue here in Vancouver at this time of year and you’ll be treated to the fruits of spring.  A magnificent tunnel of cherry blossoms.  Literally surrounded by the countless pink flowers, a typical bike ride becomes a ravishing visual and olfactory experience. Not only is it a beautiful sight to see, but they also serve as a protective barrier against the rain – and if it’s windy, it snows pink petals, falling to the ground to create a textured carpet that covers the road.
