Home Dialysis Plus (HD+) is developing a revolutionary new dialysis product with unprecedented portability and ease of use. This breakthrough will allow patients to experience the benefits of dialysis in the privacy of their own home.
Research was the key element in the White Box Design process. We conducted extensive stakeholder interviews with all parties involved in the process, and observed users during the dialysis procedure. The information and insight gained from this research was invaluable during the concept generation phase, providing the intimacy and empathy required to design a product that would improve the dialysis machine, process and user experience.
White Box Design has been involved in all aspects of the user experience design including appearance, usability, and key functional elements such as removable cartridges, graphic user interface and user instructions.
