Sierra Wireless manufactures modems and software that connect people using mobile broadband networks.
White Box Design has collaborated with Sierra Wireless on numerous project for both the North American and European markets. The most notable of these is the AirCard W801 Mobile Hotspot launched on the Sprint network as the Overdrive 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot. We were involved in all aspects of design including appearance, functionality and the graphic user interface (GUI).
The Overdrive was launched at the 2010 Consumer Electronic Show (CES) and has received rave reviews. Other USB Modems we've designed for Sierra Wireless include the 308, 312U and the 250U which is carried by both Sprint and Clearwire.
